My husband died after a long struggle with alcoholism and I am making the slow climb back to normality.

Have you noticed?
I'm not sure why, but I have noticed a definite downturn in blog production. Not production of my own blog - I've always been a once-a-week or even once-a-fortnight blogger - but the blogs of others. The most avid blog writers have stemmed their production to a trickle and some have even disappeared off the face of blogland altogether. Not quite sure what all that means. Suffice it to say, I've got bloggers' block and can't think of a darn thing to say. Maybe it's something in the air or water ..........

I've noticed it in myself. I'm not sure I've anything worthy of surfacing at the moment - I've binned several posts over recent weeks as I get half way through writing and decide they aren't worth it
I blog less at the moment due to 1) lack of time and 2) lack of content. Both of these things I'm happy about though :)
I think I've been seduced by Facebook recently. I also got a bit disillusioned with blogging when it seemed to turn into a series of adverts and sponsored posts and very little substance. There are only about three blogs I still read (yours included, of course. Maybe thoughtful blogging has had its day?
I'm writing posts in my head but not moving them to reality. I've been very busy recently and where I would have held blogging high up my priorities now it is a bit lower. Daughters health has been bad and work demanding. I really must try harder, it would be a shame to let it drop off as it is a huge diary of memories for me and I love back reading it. Which is lucky because very few other people seem to read it these days lol
