The temperatures have dropped drastically this week. We have had an incredibly mild autumn and winter so far with plants and wildlife definitely confused into thinking it's possibly spring already, but this week has seen the appearance of snow in the north and icy frosts here down south. My breakfast-time walk in the park with Snoopy has been very chilly with a biting wind to boot. Even my thermal gloves have been struggling to cope. My dog-walking companion has been urging me to wear a woolly hat, but hats and I just don't go together. I end up looking a bit like Benny from Crossroads. However today, I decided health and safety should take precedence over vanity. The look was not good and I felt distinctly uncomfortable, wishing the frozen ground would crack, open up and swallow me! In retrospect, I think the hat looks far better on Snoopy.

It's not that cold here - yet - but I suffered from cold hands this morning too. Think Snoopy looks very fetching in your hat!
After a really mild Autumn, I'm feeling a distinct change in the weather when I let the hens out in the morning.
Still don't have the heating on yet though.

I think it's all a question of finding the right hat. My problem with hats is when I take them off and am left with 'hat head.'
I have had to break out the woolly hat - I forgot it on Sat when I met the girls and headed for Winterwonderland in Hyde Park... only to find it closed due to too much interest - never mind Garfunkels was much warmer than standing their munching a burger ;-)
You are like my wife she "doesn't do" hats - hates them in fact, she will steadfastly freeze rather than put one on until it really does get too cold - it can't be that cold yet as she still hasn't given in
Now snoopy looks very very good but I need a photo of you to compare LOL. Actually snoopy looks so good I would suggest a hat modelling career ahead! (ahead! See what I did there?!)
I don't like hat hair either, but sometimes you just have to suffer it when it gets too cold as it has been lately. My hair always looks funny when I take my hat off. That's not very flattering when you're a woman of a certain age. I can ill afford to look funny. Snoopy looks good with your hat on. XOX
I love that picture but Snoopy doesn't look too sure.
Poor Snoopy...clashes with his eyes
Brrrrrrrrr! There is a frost here in North Yorkshire and I had a sleep in this morning whilst the house warmed up (lame excuse for being a lazy slob!) now I have a German shepherd looking at me - urging me to go up the lane with her.......in my woolly hat and gloves I tell you.
Keep warm
The being of the year is starting off pretty cold here. love the picture. thanks, Kenneth Gibbons LLC
