My husband recently died after a long struggle with alcoholism and I am making the slow climb back to normality.
It's just dreadful isn't it
Yes I have the heating on too. Perhaps this means we'll have a good July & August?!
Snap! I've just put up a similar post on my blog. Got drenched going to an afternoon cinema show of Prometheus - we'd booked tickets so had to brave the rain. Dusk at 4.30pm and cars with lights on - as you say only 10 days to the longest day. But like Ali Clark, I'm hopeful of a good July and August.
Bloody lovely - I've just come into find the family have put the heating on... it is JUNE!!! And we aren't Bill Gates you know! :-)
Same here. The climate in this country is definitely changing. I think this happened last year too - good weather in May then the heart of summer was a wash out.CJ x
But still great to be alive! Soon be Christmas.
This year is hopeless...I thought it was global warming, not global cooling!
It's terrible isn't it? I've got a week away on 23rd June and hoping that the place has heating! Oh for some SUN....
And I thought I was the only wimpish one. "It's my bones, my bones." I wail!
