The Talking Tree
I forgot to add this to the photos of my daily walk in the park with Snoopy. It always reminds me of the talking tree in the Disney film about Pocohontas.
That's an interesting tree - reminds me of the tree in Puff the Magic Dragon - do you remember that Sunday evening show? I, too, have been catching up on your recent blogs. Am thrilled to hear Kay's brilliant news - you must be so proud! It was a joy reading you Mothers' Day post, it sounds like you both had a lovely day. Hope that Greg is behaving himself. I am so glad that you are continuing to blog - they are always varied and interesting and something always strikes a chord! Take care. D
Fascinating tree, it reminds me of something and I just can't think what. Something in Lord of the Rings or Narnia maybe. I see there is a bat box on the side, I wonder if it has any residents.
Fern, yes there are lots of bats in the park and the bat boxes are occasionally inspected by officials to see how many residents there are for survey purposes.

ReplyDeleteI loved the one where you spent the day with your mother, a belated Happy Mother's Day to you. We celebrate it here in Canada in May.

ReplyDeleteI love the weird looking things nature throws up. It reminds me somehow of the Scream painting. Maybe its run away from the petrified forest.
