In peace at last

16 August 1923 - 22 November 2017

Almost 67 years to the day (less a week) since we were first introduced to each other, we have parted. A great mum, a lovely grandmother , who will be sadly missed and dearly loved. Rest in peace. Pain-free at last.

  2. I know how you are feeling. I had my dad's funeral on Monday. The pain is a deep physical knot in the chest. At first it feels unreal. Strength to your family, and mine.

"I'm so sorry Addy. She has a lovely face. I have followed your story all the way through and felt such sympathy as much was similar to my own experience with my beloved elderly mother who died aged 92 five years ago and I still miss her so much. God bless you and her and your own lovely girl.xxx"

  7. So sorry. What a lovely smile she had. I lost my mum five years ago (at 90) and still miss her every day. But there are lovely memories, which you will have too. Still - it's very hard.
