Midsummer in England

It's June, ten days to Midsummer's Day to be precise, and I've just put the central heating on again!!!  Oh to be in England.

Yes I have the heating on too. Perhaps this means we'll have a good July & August?!

Snap! I've just put up a similar post on my blog. Got drenched going to an afternoon cinema show of Prometheus - we'd booked tickets so had to brave the rain. Dusk at 4.30pm and cars with lights on - as you say only 10 days to the longest day. But like Ali Clark, I'm hopeful of a good July and August.

Bloody lovely - I've just come into find the family have put the heating on... it is JUNE!!! And we aren't Bill Gates you know! :-)

Same here. The climate in this country is definitely changing. I think this happened last year too - good weather in May then the heart of summer was a wash out.

It's terrible isn't it? I've got a week away on 23rd June and hoping that the place has heating! Oh for some SUN....
