Here's mud in your eye and another clue

Kay came back from Glastonbury yesterday with another two washloads of clothes - this time caked in Glastonbury mud. She thoroughly enjoyed herself despite the pouring rain (including an all-night-shift in the rain -she was getting free entry for working three shifts including doing an all-night gate duty). She then ended up with sunburn on the last two days. About par for the course then. She is so smitten with Glastonbury and cannot see why she has never been before. Except of course they are not going to be doing it next year, just as she gets the bug to go!

Meanwhile, another clue for you to ponder .............

Church restoration.......hmmmmm.........

Meanwhile, I'm off to do my grape-stomping dance, as Kay's clothes are all currently soaking in the bath, to get off that Glastonbury mud. You never know the trend might catch on!

Ha ha...the thought of all that mud! And hen sunburn. Glad she loved it...it might not be on next year, but there'll be plenty more in the future....and I give up on your clues

Well I never! I have just spent a lovely half an hour having a read about her and her works to work out where you are going and I learnt a few things. I really like it when a post excites my interests and sends me off reading. Thank you. And I am sure I know where you are going now :)

Glad to hear that Kay enjoyed Glastonbury so much. I believe it is not being held next year because of the Olympics. We live about a half hour drive from Glastonbury (although the event is held a little way from the town itself)but have never been to the Festival and not likely to now - although I am tempted, just to be able to say I have been! I don't even know where Glastonbury is...I'm so bad at geography.

*running away due to embarrassment*

Have Myelin - don't worry. It's a huge music festival which has been organised on farmland in Somerset south west England just South of Bristol. It started in the hippy days of 1970 and has been going every year ever since. This year there was something like 250,000 people there. The farm gets quite a lot of revenue, but then the ground gets churned up and covered in litter after the three-day event. There are miles of tents and camper vans as far as the eye can see. This year the star acts were Beyonce, U2 and Coldplay and loads of other groups as well. I suppose it compares well with the American Woodstock.
