All things bright and beautiful

For the last twelve days I have slaved over a stepladder and a pot of paint, over-reaching here, turning into a contortionist there, painting four of the six levels of my hallway and stairs. Walls, ceilings, doors and other woodwork all needed at least two coats to cover the horrible brown nicotine gloop caused by Greg's chain-smoking over the years. I am cream-crackered (as they politely say here) but the end result is one beautifully decorated hall and stairways. Although I say so myself, I am rather proud of my efforts.

Brilliant Addy - a job well done! Despite the upheavels of decorating - there is always the crown of "I did that!"

Wow ! that's quiet a difference ! I want to have it done this year too, and then Mr. G is not allowed to smoke anywhere else then outside or in the kitchen when it rains or it's cold under the extractor hood ! Heavy smokers gave me this idea, because they all had to paint their yellow walls !

Blimey I am well impressed. You should be so very proud of your efforts. If I'd done it, it wouldn't look like that at all! Hope you are getting some time off as well to enjoy in whatever way.x

Awesome - perhaps a break to pamper yourself before the next project would be good.
