Five, Four, Three, Two, One

Five more nail-biting days before Kay gets her A-level exam results. Kay is so on edge she is having anxiety dreams. Sometimes they are based on the fact she has got the grades she needs and is already at university, sometimes they are about the fact she has not got the requisite grades and has not got in. This time next week we shall know her fate. Having waited eight weeks for this, it can't come quick enough.

I remember that well. Although I'm now mid-30s, the anxiety I felt waiting for my A Levels really took its toll.

My periods stopped and I lost a stone in weight. My mother claimed I was an absolute living hell.

And then, on the day I went to collect the results, the college had lost them!! (They were found, and I'd got the grades I needed, but during the 15 minutes it took them to locate them, I was going beserk!!).

Fingers crossed she gets what she wants and deserves.

I'm keeping everything crossed for Kay, but seriously I truly believe that Kay is a winner and it's off to Uni we go!! Phew now I'm going to be checking for your post on the results.

That summer after I did my A levels was the longest of my life - and for all the wrong reasons. The wait is interminable! Biting my own nails for Kay, do post the results on Thursday, please.

My digits will be crossed too - not to mention anything else that I'm still flexible enough to cross with out busting a blood vessel.

I shall uncross one finger a day until all the ones I've crossed are undone and Kay has her results...

Thinking of her this week then Rosiero and you, of course. The next few days are going to drag but I'm sure she will get the grades she needs. Like everyone else I have my fingers crossed. Will be keeping my eye on your posts too. A x

Fingers crossed and even the occassional toe crossing too (it's quite difficult to keep up for any length of time!)

I am sure that it'll be all good news on the day. Please let us know how she gets on.
